count-down to glastonbury
So it’s now a little more than a week before Matt and I are braving the mud, rain and no-showers-for-three-days to add arguably the best festival in the world, Glastonbury.
We’ve brought our tent (which I wanted to decorate in pinks and yellows but Matt told me it would devalue the tent), my gum boots (here I am supposed to call them Wellingtons) and have continually prayed for clear skies and sunshine for the length of the festival.
I’m not holding my breath.
But in the meantime leading up to Glastonbury, I haven’t really been doing all that much.
We had a friend’s farewell party with a Mexican theme, where Matt and I dressed as a Tequila bottle and salt. The best part of that was travelling on the tube as a Tequila bottle the day before the no-drinking ban on the tube came into play.
There was a couple of new products that went live at work, which was busy but exciting.
I’m going to see Alanis Morissette on Thursday night and as her Jagged Little Pill album takes me back more than ten years to being in year eight and teen angst and all that.
And my brother arrives on the 1st of July.
Of course, I’m sure I have much more to write about tomorrow – when Firefox 3 is officially released!

Matt, I know how you feel when you worry about the tent. She nearly did the same thing to my house!!
