and now for something completely different

Snowing near my office
Sorry to change the subject abruptly, but I’m just so excited!
And not just this fall-quickly-and-turn-to-mush snow that London’s extremely well known for, but the full on, train- cancelling, schools-closing kind of snow.
Except that because I live so close to the office, I’m in here anyway. Watching the snow fall out on the River Thames and wishing that I was six again so that I too could get away with dropping snow from bridges onto unsuspecting passers-by.
Ah, the good old days. Not that I ever got to do that when I was six anyway as the likelyhood of snow in Melbourne would be just about as probable Paris Hilton actually disappearing from the media altogether.
But that being said, I must have been almost six when it snowed in Healesville… although that in itself was quite amazing. Adam and I had just enough snow for a lopsided snowman. We were so gutted when he melted.
Enjoy the photo and think of the cold you hot, fed-up Melburnians.
